The Motor City Tennis Club (MCTC), a 501c(4) non-profit organization, was established in 1929 when a group of Detroiters formed a social tennis club. Since then, it has evolved into a full-fledged, competitive "outdoor" tennis organization.  Through the years, MCTC has used tennis as a vehicle to encourage family unity and hence, to nurture family values.  The goal of the club now is to expand its mission to provide a comprehensive, year-round tennis program that will encompass these values.
